 A 1995 Evergreen High School graduate Mary L. Hammond died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2002, in a vehicle accident near Washougal. She was 25. Mrs. Hammond worked at Lighthouse Financial Group in Vancouver for two years before she took a job as a loan processor at Bridgeport Lending two months ago. She was born June 22, 1977, in Long Beach, Calif., and lived nearly all her life in Clark County. She was a member of Brush Prairie Baptist Church and enjoyed dancing, music and outdoor activities. Survivors include her parents, Fran and Tip Hammond of Vancouver; one daughter, Maci L. Hammond-Jones, at home; three brothers, Joseph P. Hammond and Daniel J. Hammond, both of Vancouver, and Mark D. Hammond of Tacoma; and grandmothers, Gladys E. Sakrison of Brush Prairie and Mitsue Hammond of Olympia. A service will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Brush Prairie Baptist Church. Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made in her name at any branch of Washington Mutual. |
